I am a photo-shoot assistant for this quintessentially British fashion brand. This is an out of office-based job. • I help find locations for shoots that convey the brand image and are appropriate this seasons range. • I am also involved in styling prior to and on set.
I was hired as a marketing intern for a high-end women’s fashion company and their knitwear partner, I was immediately given 100% responsibility for developing the company’s social media. My performance in this role led to the Ark offering me a permanent position as a copywriter for their online and print media. • Set up and develop social media. • Produce and distribute weekly customer emails. • The Ark: increased Facebook followers by 96% and Instagram by 248% • Nikel and Sole: increased Facebook followers by 104% and Instagram by 297% • Writing creative copy for their advertising content in social media, broadsheet and in-store marketing materials. • Formalising and following a consistent a company message throughout my work, showing my ability to follow company briefs. • I worked in their retail stores to gain insight into their customer demographic. • I was asked to stay on in a permanent role (visa permitting) to research the implementation of a virtual store, a credit to my creativity and hard work. • I did SWOT analysis on the current stores and created a detailed PowerPoint guiding The Ark Clothing Co. in the possible step by step execution of a virtual store. • Additionally, with the Nikel and Sole knitwear company, I worked with their brand manager building a new concept to re-launch their website and increase their network visibility. • Developing mood boards and researching suitable bloggers, artists, photographers and websites to contact as profile-raising assets.
I worked as a research analyst for a specialist cost-auditing company in the USA. • Researched, analysed and developed requirements for a customer project implementation system. • Reorganised the system for C&C’s client database, to track progress and revenue associated with client information and current audits. • Making sourcing of information more efficient.
I worked as a receptionist and host for a prestigious golf club hotel in Scotland. • In the receptionist role I managed bookings for the golf course and restaurant, which improved my IT, communication and organisation abilities. • The host role enhanced my conversational, social and managerial skills.
