I was hired at Stella & Dot as a communications specialist, and in less than a year, increased the weekly newsletter open rate from 30% to 40% and through targeted email campaigns increased the attendance of their quarterly training conferences by 26%. These achievements, along with my hands-on approach, led me to beat all of my OKRs and received a promotion to Stylist Development Associate in 2016 and Communications Manager of Europe in 2017, managing all of the Stylist content, from marketing campaigns, field training, and events management. A recent project includes but is not limited to; launching the website for our biggest event of the year, a conference for over 600 Stylists across Europe. I led a team from concept to design, copy to web development, and content to presentation.
In the brief period, before I moved down to London for my current role, I worked as a Stylist for Gibson & Birkbeck, a quintessentially British, print led fashion company. I was hired as a marketing intern for The Ark, a high-end women’s fashion company and their knitwear partner, Nikel and Sole. I was immediately given 100% responsibility for developing the company’s social media. My performance in this role led to the Ark offering me a permanent position. • Lead social media. • Produce and distribute weekly customer emails. • The Ark: increased Facebook followers by 96% and Instagram by 248% • Nikel and Sole: increased Facebook followers by 104% and Instagram by 297% • Writing creative copy for their advertising content in social media, broadsheet and in-store marketing materials. • I worked in their retail stores to gain insight into their customer demographic. • I did SWOT analysis on the current stores and created a detailed PowerPoint guiding The Ark Clothing Co. in the possible step by step execution of a virtual store. • Additionally, with the Nikel and Sole knitwear company, I worked with their brand manager to launch their online journal. • Developing mood boards and researching suitable bloggers, artists, photographers and websites to contact as profile-raising assets.
I worked as a research analyst for a specialist cost-auditing company in the USA. • Researched, analysed and developed requirements for a customer project implementation system. • Reorganised the system for C&C’s client database, to track progress and revenue associated with client information and current audits. • Making sourcing of information more efficient.
