I'm a 23 year old online creative and freelance writer. I like strong tea but only sweet coffee. I'll watch sci-fi but prefer a romcom. Long journies are good with music but better with a book. Nottingham Contemporary showcase modern art and local artists, being part of the 'Response' Magazine allows me to work along side these artists and other creative students within areas such as social media, writing and publishing of the magazine itself.
Throughout my time at Lee, I have gained creative industry experience within influencer marketing, campaign generation PR as well as digital brand development. I work across fashion brands, Simply Be, Jacamo, Pep & co and Poundland. Being able to become directly involved within creative briefs for such developed brands has allowed me to see ideas develop and become end results.
Assisting in the week running of fashion week, posting and documenting through out their social media as well as the running of the backstage production of the model dressing and event organisation.
Graduate Fashion Week is an internationally renown platform showcasing fashion graduate work across social media and degree shows within London, as the communications assistant I interviewed graduates and influencers as well as running the social media throughout a number of their shoots and campaigns.
Working alongside a brief set by Universal Works we designed a complete marketing campaign for their SS19 collection. Our idea was to celebrate the moon landing while looking back and celebrate the idea of nostalgia. We every aspect from the pitching, to films and editing the film was completed by myself and my team and the brand themselves went on to produce a limited-edition T-shirt from our designs as well as an article and feature on their website.
I and 3 other project managers were responsible with the organising of the entire degree show team as well as being the main points of communication between other subject areas and external individuals to organise the event
Taking part in this placement while studying at the FRA allowed me to put the skills I have learnt into action, creating press releases, contacting clients as well as sending out samples gave me further experience within the industry
Weekly outfits posts which would bring together the top finds from a range of retail stores and sites.
With weekly subjects brought to myself and other freelancers we completed street style photography and interviews which were posted online.
