• STYLE x Black Writers' Guild essay competitionAs part of Style's Bernardine Evaristo guest edit, I oversaw the launch of a writing competition for aspiring Black fashion and beauty journalists. The prize was a mentoring session with Bernardine Evaristo, six months worth of mentoring with the Style team and six pieces published in Style. The inaugural winner was Ranyechi Udemezue and her first piece was published in January 2021.

This strategy involves engaging and interacting with our online audience between weekly print issues by creating fresh, unique and sharable social media content. During this time I also contributed to the magazine's print edition with research and written pieces.
