Alicia Monedero is an Artist and Educator based in London. She is interested in individual and collective memory using Photography to make work that is connected with our own perceptions, emotions and experiences. Alicia collaborates with individuals wishing to express their internal reality and lived experiences, and organisations engaging with communities to create photographic and participatory joint projects.
Alicia has attended university in both the UK and Spain completing studies in Education and Business, which led her to carry out consultancy work in a variety of industries, schools and colleges. She has also attended courses at several institutions including Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts.
Alicia is currently working as a member of the Academic Support team at Central Saint Martins and teaching workshops that she has developed for the University of the Arts London (UAL) wide and short courses programmes. Her courses and workshops focus on the creative process using a variety of mediums and techniques to expand knowledge, transform ideas and create a more self-aware approach to practice, studies and professional performance.

- Island2Island: Art Exhibition from 1st to 9th OctoberIsland2Island Art is a project for an exhibition event with the aim of presenting contemporary works of Sardinian and International artists in conversation. The aim is to explore commonalities and differences between the two islands expressed by multiple artistic mediums and generate links for future research, business opportunities and creative relationships.
