Out of curiosity - do you buy art? swap? or, fill the walls with your own?

- @Alicia Monedero I think as creatives we appreciate other forms of art which either influence us or that we can relate to
- Thanks @Adam Hoskins , that's a good idea. I also have have a variety of pieces around me.
- Thanks @Richard Gallon Yes, that's is definitely a better place!
- I personally fill my walls with my work and others. I only deal with one medium so having other creative work from different genres fills the gaps
- Mostly swap or my own - depends on the pieces. Usually swap smaller pieces. And often have artwork of mine hanging around that is better on the wall than in a drawer somewhere.
- Thanks for all your responses! It's very interesting to read them. I love swapping but not everyone is open to the idea and I also buy when I can. What I've disovered about having my own work on the walls, is that it gives me a constant source of inspiraration especially, when it comes to the reworking of ideas - good point @Paul Koskinen I've been thinking of removing some pieces.
- I have a mix of work from my friends and work I've done!
- Used to do all the above but this year I'm gravitating more to a minimalist approach to interior decorating. Besides, I need to keep looking forward and leave older works in the past.
- A bit of all of them really. It took me years to feel fine about putting up my own stuff. I like to buy art when I can though.
- Swap/Art Trade. Its more fun that way and expands connections
- I buy art (usually prints) when I can, to show my support the artists!
- Swap! I recently got an excellent print
