Hi, I’m Alicia and I am a contemporary illustrator based in Bournemouth. Originally from Chichester, I fell in love with my university town and don’t see myself ever going back home! I work digitally (on my iPad) and draw inspiration from fashion and femininity. I like my art to convey a lot of attitude and you’ll find that most of my work is composed of bright, bold colour.
During my time at AUB, my creative practice has been mainly geared towards editorial illustration and I hope to be able to continue to create such work professionally. Upon leaving university, I have had significant interest in portrait commissions which has inspired me to invest in my first printer; I am in the process of starting up my own online store so that I may offer a variety of prints, whether they be specific designs or one off exclusive pieces. - FeminineFor my final major project at Arts University Bournemouth, I created illustrations for a collaborative campaign regarding women’s intimate health and body positivity. My illustrations were made to be included in a printed publication, to create promotional materials (such as store posters, stickers and postcards) and for packaging designs. The campaign was a conceptual project for well known cosmetics company, Lush.
