I have over six years of experience as a commercial, digital and social media editor and have worked with a wide variety of brands in a number of sectors. I also have over 10 years of experience as a journalist, writing mostly on film and television, sport and fitness, mental health, property and fashion. My work has appeared in Empire, FHM, Gentleman's Journal, The Guardian, Refinery29, The Script Lab, Stylist Loves and Virgin Media's Virgin TV Edit.
Leading and managing Gentleman's Journal commercial campaigns. Working closely with our clients and partner brands, I brought together the Gentleman's Journal editorial and commercial teams to produce effective and engaging content, campaigns and projects that are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Leading and running the creative ideation, editorial publishing agenda and output for the Virgin TV Edit website and personalised email. As well as creating engaging features, previews and interviews around each week’s TV, movie and sport highlights, Virgin TV Edit also keeps customers up to date on their products, services, customer exclusives and rewards.
As well as supporting the Digital Editor of FHM, creating daily content for the FHM.com website and managing the output of the active social media handles. My achievements include growing the Facebook page following from 600,000 to 3million over the 18-month period and leading the digital output for the FHM 100 Sexiest campaigns for two years.
Writing "Top 10" listicles on film and screenwriting, such as "Top 10 British Screenwriters of the Last 10 Years," "Top 10 Film Noir" and "Top 10 Road Movies."
