From Liverpool, I've lived in London since 2012. I have a 2:1 BA in Public Relations & Marketing, and have worked in PR for 10 years across artists, festivals, events, and more.

- The New York Times x For Those I Love profile (Print and Online)Working with writer Douglas Greenwood, we set this up over a month long conversation which included fact checking. Here I set up time with the writer, as well as liaised in setting up a photographer that was based in Dublin. I arranged timings through FTIL management and sent any amends plus questions to them too. - 2017 ReBalance LaunchIn August 2017, I assisted in the launch of ReBalance, a 3 year inititave that looks to address gender imbalance in the industry by offering studio time and festival slots to female identified artists, plus sound engineering internships. - 2018 Download Festival MonopolyWorking closely with the marketing team, I helped create an official Download Festival version of Monopoly, where I assisted in copy for the Chess/Chance Cards, as well as the names of locations around the board. - Download Festival's DO.OM Yoga LaunchPress event to launch Download Festival's new on site activity 'DO.OM Yoga' in 2018 Facilitating and managing this launch to celebrate a new on site initiative at the festival, media and influencers were invited to take part in a DO.OM Yoga class, yoga to a form of metal music. Coverage was achieved on a national and regional scale across, TV, radio, print, online and social platforms.
- Breaking alternative event Download Festival into mainstream and lifestyle media.A really fun activation in London, put together with minimal spend. Resulting in some brand new lifestyle press looks for festival from the likes of VICE, Metro, I Paper and tied together with local press at ITV Central angle by following up with activity onsite at the big event. This was completed in my previous role at LD Comms.

Year 1 offered general knowledge in media, marketing and public relations and dedicates valuable time to enhancing one’s writing skills specifically for media and marketing communications.
Year 2 developed my intellectual and problem solving skills, as well as my marketing communication skills. This 2nd tier of modules incorporated the latest specialist theory of media and digital communications and offered insights into the main measurement tools used in advertising and consumer public relations.
Year 3 developed and tested my independent judgement and critical awareness as well as an analytical and creative approach to learning, and refined my personal development planning activities. Provided an advanced understanding of corporate, media and digital marketing and research strategy.
