    PublicistPrescription PR
    London, United KingdomFull Time
Leading music PR agency based in Cambridge, Manchester, and London. Here I write press releases, reports, proposals, and attend planning meetings with labels, managers, product managers, and more. I create adhoc PR campaigns per artist over the time frame allocated, working on singles, music videos, albums, EPs, and tours, which include pitching to UK and occasionally US media, for both online and print, to secure track coverage, interviews, reviews, and features. Media monitoring is a vital part of the role, as well as keeping on top of new and changing contacts which I keep track of within our database. I also assist in managing the company social media which includes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I attend gigs and events frequently, and network with other parts of the industry as well as writers and journalists. Currently I work with For Those I Love, M(h)aol, Witch Fever, TV Priest, Nation Of Language, Merpire, Mrley, Anorak Patch, Deanna Petcoff, NORBRO, and Loose Fit (December, 2021). Past clients include: Barenaked Ladies, She Drew The Gun, The Early Mornings, Ultra Q, Wings Of Desire, The Psychotic Monks, Ruby Fields, Boy Scouts, Field Medic, Skegss, Shrink, Yore, and more. I have also worked on reissue vinyl campaigns for The Style Council, and Paul Weller. Labels, I have worked with Sony, Universal, Fat-Cat, Sub Pop, Big Scary Monsters, Concord, The Orchard, TULLE, September Recordings, Space-44, Loma Vista, Royal Mountain Records, Nice Swan, PIAS, Run For Cover, Epitaph, ANTI-, and more.

     - London, United KingdomFull Time
Here I work on Download Festival, Latitude Festival, and Leeds Festival where I manage external PR Agencies throughout 6-9 month campaigns, as well as planning announcements with other departments including promoters, management, media partners, and providing assets to align with the agreed timeline. Other parts of my role include budget management for each festival, artist commercial/non-commercial photo and film agreements, attending planning meetings, and proofing copy for announcement assets. Media is monitored daily and compiled into detailed, weekly reports that are sent to the Managing Director, as well as International News/Social Media monitoring to keep up to date with the industry. Media Partners are an important part of my role as they are a key player in festivals as they are a beneficial partnership between advertising and editorial. Through this, we can ensure the maximum amount of coverage where we agree to creative ideas, media buying, and on site requirements such as stage partnerships, and signing tents. For the press area on site at each festival, the marquee, power, internet, furniture and more need to be ordered to ensure media are equipped with everything they need to work on site. Media passes need to pre-agreed with ticketing, as does all laminates, radios, and vehicles. As well as this I also work on ReBalance, a Festival Republic initiative that offers studio time and festival slots to female identified artists, and the recently announced ReBalance Sessions where those who are part of the scheme showcase their talents, where AE MAK were signed by Matt Bates of Primary Talent.
