I'm a freelance Illustrator looking for work, my main interests are conceptual and editorial illustration. Having recently finished my masters I'm looking for new opportunities to develop my creative career. The main areas I would like to work in are film, television and music.

  Tick, Tick, Boom!Been loving Tick, Tick, Boom! recently. I think Andrew Garfield does an amazing job, so I created an illustration around it.

  Character ActFor this project I created a series of characters inspired by gender, sexuality and race. I wanted these characters to defy the societal norms of every day pop culture. My main aim way to create these characters so that people feel they have representation. I created them in a MET gala inspired environment so that I could explore more creative ways of expressing their different personalities through fashion. During this I created two concept illustrations to pitch to producers for animated horror films. I was given a brief and pictures of which the characters should look similar to and where it was set. I was given complete artistic freedom for these illustrations and a quick dead line of 1-2 days for a fully coloured illustration.

During this job I created packaging designs for two different companies as mock ups to show the approached companies the type of things Qualvis can offer. The two briefs I worked on were contrasting so It taught me to adapt my working styles and open up to working methods I never would have tried before. During the periods where the design team were busy with their workload I helped them prioritise by taking over simpler tasks such as using the printers and the plotting machines which cut out the samples to be posted to the companies.
