Hello, I’m Amy — an experienced and established Graphic Designer, having worked in the creative industry for over 6 years. Since graduating with a degree in Graphic Design & Communication, I have gained confidence working across countless print and digital projects, from logo and brand development to motion graphics, editorial, social media, events, and client pitch work.
Working across Marketing, New Business, NEO, & supporting the wider company. New Business responsibilities involved designing pitch collateral, pitch theatre, and presentation design, which directly contributed to Mindshare winning new clients such as Red Bull and KFC. Working with the New Business Director, I re-defined how the creative team are utilised by creating a briefing process, timeline, & establishing ongoing expectations. I continued to project manage this as well as all incoming tasks and team workload. Marketing responsibilities included designing all internal & external communications, social media, and all events including the large-scale annual Mindshare Huddle event (which included invites, emails, lanyards, social media, marketing, video, and vinyl/ signage). I was also the lead designer for Human Resources and Culture, including adhoc projects around mental health, diversity, social events, and employee wellbeing, which I really enjoyed. Lastly, I managed all relationships with external printing companies, and mentored the Junior Designer.
Promoted from Junior Designer, I reported directly into the Head of Design and worked closely with key stakeholders and senior leadership to help drive higher quality design output, to further increase revenue. This included New Business pitches, events, marketing collateral, insights research reports, digital and print design. I also managed two Junior Designers whilst in this role.
Hired as the only Junior Designer directly below the Head of Design, before being promoted to Middleweight and recruiting and mentoring two Junior Designers.
