About me
A South London native with a passion for photography, print and packaging. With over 5 years experience in broadcast media, I am well-versed in the concepts of top-tier branding, bolstered by studio-based training at Shillington College. My dream is to specialise in editorial or art direction.
Projects
  • Perfume - Book cover - Student work
Perfume - Book cover - Student workTasked with creating a book cover using handmade elements, I chose to re-imagine the cover of Perfume by Patrick Suskind, a dark and visually potent tale set in 18th-century France. With the help of Benjamin Szabo Photography, smoke grenade photography provided the backdrop while the title was hand-painted with a calligraphy brush.
  • Shift - epublication - student work
Shift - epublication - student workUsing the features available on digital magazines, the objective was to design and layout an epublication aimed at urban cyclists.
  • Machine - font design
Machine - font designMachine - a font for all your album cover and sci-fi festival needs. The idea for this came from cogs and machine parts fitting together.
  • Tell Tales - Event branding - student work
Tell Tales - Event branding - student workThis student project involved devising an event by which our chosen company could reach new audiences. Tell Tales is a family festival held by the Royal Opera House to celebrate storytelling. Opera is often seen to be high-brow and inscrutable, despite the dramatic and exciting stories they often embody. Drawing inspiration from Pan's Labyrinth and the Grimm Fairytales, I created a mini shadow theatre with a paper-cut tree, which was then photographed. These visuals are also carried into ticket and mobile application design.
  • Acanthus - branding - student work
Acanthus - branding - student workA student brief to design the branding for a bespoke garden boutique. I aimed to mix natural textures as part of the design, while the logo was inspired by the Fibonacci sequence.
  • Moolah - website - student work
Moolah - website - student workor a children's website with the aim of encouraging money saving in a fun and engaging way.

    Graphic Designer
Graduate of Shillington College where I was able to expand on my pre-existing knowledge as a photographer in a studio-based environment. Current work has included hand-lettering, wedding invitation design and BBC Worldwide Arts Festival identity and rollout. Always looking for an opportunity to collaborate in a freelance capacity or at an agency where my strengths in communication and concept development can help in a variety of briefs. I am handy with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Final Cut Pro X, cameras (still and video), illustration and art direction.
