    After CarlAfter Carl takes as a starting point the discrepancies around Carl Andre’s ‘Equivalent VIII’ (1966), its description, measurements, provenance and position within art history. In 1972 the Tate bought Carl Andre’s Equivalent VIII, six years after it was first exhibited. The set bought by the Tate however was not one of the original sets exhibited.   • Library Of Birmingham Reference Works
    Library Of Birmingham Reference WorksIn 2012 I was invited to take part in the Birmingham Library Reference Works , described on the library's website as “... the largest and most important photography commission ever undertaken in the city [Birmingham]...” I was asked to create a response to the archive of the library in the form of a new body of work. After several months of research in the archive and visits to the (now almost demolished) Central Library I created two separate bodies of work: one, a series of large and medium format photographs meant for publication and the second, a series of pieces that were made from reclaimed and reinterpreted materials for the exhibition.
