Angel Ogboru is an interdisciplinary artist with a particular focus on styling and creative direction.
Currently based and studying at London College of Fashion, Angel’s work is a powerful means of self-expression. Inspired by a wide range of art, music, and history, Angel wants to capture the essence of empowerment, showcasing breaking free from prejudice and self-doubt, and challenging us to see beyond the surface and embrace the profound beauty of diversity.
Angel's ultimate goal is to be a trendsetter and influencer in the industry. She aspires to collaborate with brands that align with her vision and bring her unique perspective to life. Through her creative endeavors, she aims to create a distinct and unforgettable visual language.
Projects
- In Our Jeans"Sustainability Is In Our Jeans," a zine project in collaboration with James Clark Shining a spotlight on the excessive use of water and resources. Each step in the lifecycle of a pair of jeans leaves behind a trail of waste and pollution. Did you know it takes nearly 3,800 liters of water and emits 33.4 kilograms of carbon dioxide just to make one pair jeans? "Sustainability Is In Our Jeans" celebrates the power of collaboration and innovation in tackling environmental challenges head-on.
- ANATDROGYNYcreative direction + styling + photography by me a story of enigmatic personas, transcending conventional norms, as they navigate a space that doesn't readily embrace their presence. "Adrift in a sea of unfamiliarity". These personas serve as living embodiments of my personal saga—a quest for self-discovery.
