ANG (Elong Moussongo M. Angelot by his real name) is a music rapper/producer of Cameroonian origin, based in London since 2011. After obtaining a degree in Marketing in Cameroon where he was born and raised, he flew to the united kingdom, but before the big departure he will work on several albums and singles of local artists well known on the scene (Killamel, Boudor, Kastra, Sir Nostra, ...) as a beatmaker and artistic director . In parallel during this period he joined several groups including BLP (Black on the page), B.A.O, to finish after several scenic performances and some solo singles in radio.
`influenced at its beginnings by producers like 9th Wonder, Kanye west or Manu Dibango, it ends up finding its own sound; a mix between his culture of US hip hop and his Cameroonian origins.
In 2015 he released his first Ep "2015 Raisons" which will be very well received by the public, titles like "snap me a selfie" or "I want" will rise to the top of the charts of local urban platforms that year, 2016 will follow another ep but this time with his colleague TOM KINGUE always titled "Rome". June 30, 2017 he released "HATE & HARMONY" an EP where different facets of the artist meet, he paints a dark portrait of him there but without ever losing sight of self-confidence and work, a very well received project still putting thus the pressure for the release of his first album. A year and a half later, the album was still not ready for the sake of doing things well, so he released another Ep in the process; "MYSTIQUE (While waiting for Kumbaya). November 8, 2019 KUMBAYA the first Album comes out. KUMBAYA is an autobiography with hip hop consonances interspersed with African, European or Caribbean influences; not wanting to create borders between the different musical currents that he appreciates, ANG preferred to associate them in the same project.
