Raised in Scotland, I am a versatile digital and print journalist based in London with over five years experience.
I am currently editor of Creative HEAD Ireland, a magazine covering the hairdressing industry, and the trends that fuel it.
As a freelance writer I have written features for i-D, Metro, Culture Trip, Man Repeller, The Debrief (now hosted on Grazia), Sister Magazine, Penguin Random House, and Zoopla. Topics covered in my work have included fashion, travel, drinks, interior design and culture.
In 2017 I was shortlisted in the Vogue Talent Contest for writers under 25 for my articles on fashion and film.
I graduated with a 2:1 in English Literature and Philosophy in 2014 from the University of St Andrews, and completed a sub-editing course at London College of Media and Journalism in November 2016.

I edit the Irish edition of Creative HEAD magazine and lead the entire production process from edit list to final checks. I am responsible for writing high quality editorial features for both print and digital platforms, along with working with brands to create sponsored content. I am flexible and work efficiently to deadlines and adapt to accommodate breaking news, and my online work includes uploading content, editing images and styling web pages. As an ambassador for the title, I attend launches, events and London Fashion Week to build strong relationships with PR contacts, and regularly travel both nationally and internationally representing Creative HEAD.
