- Getty Images Grants2014 marked the ten year anniversary of the Getty Images Grants program, which has now awarded over $1 million in funding to photographers. I was asked to interview previous winners and judges of the Grants program and produce a short video that was screened at the Visa pour L'Image Photo Festival in Perpignan to an audience of approximately 3500 people. - Lynsey Addario Book LaunchWith a four week turnaround I remotely curated a pop up show for Lynsey to support the launch of her (now) best selling memoir, It's What I Do. After creating a virtual layout in the UK for the carefully mapped out space in NYC, the imagery was printed and mounted in New York, before I flew out to hang the show. Working with my excellent colleagues (Aidan Sullivan, Patrick Llewellyn. Jay Davis, Lauren Steele and Jennifer Odell), we delivered a packed event that was a great success.
- Year In FocusFor the last four years I've been the editor/creative director of our Getty Images' Year In Focus photography annual. I work with all of the key editors and directors of photography across the company to source the best photography from our News, Sport, Entertainment and Archive collections which tends to result in over 5000 images for review. I then refine and edit this set down to approximately 250 images that form the basis for the book. As well as the print book I also produce a fully interactive multitouch book that's packed with the same great imagery as well as additional video and 360 panoramics.
