I have a keen eye for precision, design and also detail. I like to make sure that all my work is presented at the best quality and also beautifully. I am very ambitious and enjoy tackling various challenges that are given to me. I like to make sure that I approach any brief that is given to me with an open, fun and creative mind. As a Graphic Designer, I like to keep up to date with all the various new trends and incorporate them into my own design work. I am also efficient with using a majority of the Adobe Creative Suite, the strongest software's for me being Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign During my second year at University, I took part in a 2-week exchange trip to Changsha, China. Through this experience, I could see how different yet similar design was in another country. I got the opportunity to work alongside Chinese students and it was an eye-opening experience for me. I was out of my comfort zone however it was an excellent way of seeing just how vastly different design is in China. I was fortunate enough to be able to go on this exchange trip again during my final year at University. Being able to go again allowed me to network with more people but also learn a lot more about Chinese culture. It was fascinating to see how much of the traditional culture in Changsha is still important and relevant to Changsha today. I was also given the opportunity to feature in an online news article along with my work. I think this was a great opportunity as many people from Changsha could see my work. Another reason why I joined this exchange project was to show that I could easily adapt to another country or atmosphere. I also enjoy travelling very much and experiences new things so I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to do just that. I am currently finishing up my Masters in Graphic Communication Design which has taught me that there are so many ways to be able to communicate to the vast public and that it also depends on what type of message it is that you want to be able to send out. Being able to communicate the right message can be seen as a problem, so I have been using my problem-solving skills, and incorporating that with design, to try and solve these sorts of problems. Using these skills, I think that being a marketing assistant will come easier to me as I am easily able to understand what it is that is wanted from me.Locked Pro Plan feature
I am currently working as a Local Banker at TSB Bank. My role heavily involves customer service as I constantly am communicating to customers and helping them in solving their queries. My role also involves being able to help customers by providing them with the correct financial needs. Once again, I have learnt the importance of communication through this role.
