About me
Corporate Citizenship and D&I Talent Programme Specialist - Helping world-class brands make an impact for their teams, business and society I am an experienced Chief Executive of social mobility charities that has specialised in leading diversity and inclusion programmes with HR and Corporate Citizenship teams in top businesses and institutions to create schemes that work. Previously political staff for Obama for America and communications professional helping organisations build engagement and partnership strategies, I have gone on to help operationalise and lead several education, careers and skills initiatives. With a strategic communications background, I have helped organisations build as movements attracting the right buy-in, visibility and create large coalitions of support at the C-Suite level. A track record in supporting businesses in the Creative Industries, from Mother UK to Spotify to ITV, I have particular expertise in UK talent and recruitment strategies that tackle the socio-economic, class and racial divide in these industries, but also have wider experience in consulting and designing interventions/schemes with partners in diverse geographies (e.g. Botswana, South Africa, Hong Kong). I have had the privilege to work with a number of global brands at different points in their journey as they create richer, higher-impact future talent programmes, from Google to EndemolShine to Cisco Systems and PwC, supporting strategy on schemes such as work experience, apprenticeships and CPD progression, as well as the practicability planning, manager training and business-change messaging. As a senior executive with my own experience building organisations, I am passionate about helping private sector companies embed the belonging, ownership and shared vision often seen in the social sector but can be harnessed in any business to retain diverse, great talent. I have wider expertise within state education pathways and digital education product design, with partners from Pearson to the Universit of Oxford, to tackle diversity pipelines pre-career. After a rich career in the third sector as a delivery partner and strategic advisor with our partners, I am looking to support companies in-house with progressing their work in this space. I am currently taking on projects or temporary consulting roles as well as full-time D&I roles to help the success of new programmes or strategies in D&I, belonging and educational engagement space.
