About me
Currently a third year textile design student at the Arts University Bournemouth. I specialise in digital design, Irish machine embroidery, hand embroidery and embellishments for Women's fashion accessories. My passion and skill for drawing is influenced from my extensive travels abroad, thus encompassing ethnic inspiration into my digital prints. I use Mimaki printing to translate my final designs and various handcrafted techniques to accomplish bespoke delicate textures. My style of embellishment and embroidery is versatile for each project and demonstrates my perspective as the designer. I aim to provide audiences with a distinctive visual aesthetic within my samples and final designs.

I have practiced a variety of technical processes in my project such as mimaki printing, Irish machine embroidery, hand embroidery, pleat smoking and hand embellishment. This collection is titled ‘New England Nature’ and ca
- Japanese TravelsThis project was inspired by Japanese art culture and native plants. I have used my first hand research from my trip to Japan to develop drawings and imagery. The techniques displayed in my designs are Mimaki digital-printing, laser cutting, UV printing, hand embroidery and embellishing. The project themes a quirky fun aesthetic and caters for A/W Women's bespoke accessories.
