Senior role as a Creative with my usual copywriter. Working on a pitch for DisneyLife a Disney product targeting busy mums, (parents) and grandparents. They need it a big idea that would work across TV and social media channels. One of our ideas won the business for Once Upon a Time and it would be live during the first quarter of 2017.
I lead the creative team and worked closely with the planning and account departments to ensure projects were delivered on brand and on time. I was responsible for translating briefs into inspiring and effective creative solutions for existing clients. I was also responsible for coaching, guiding and mentoring members of the creative team and conducted annual reviews. I managed job allocation and resourcing for the creative department recruiting for full-time and freelance cover. I managed and presented to client the winning concepts on the successful JOHN LEWIS online pitch in December 2008. As my tenure progressed I also created three brand films for MORRISONS.
I joined Draft London initially as Digital Art Director in a small department that grew gradually over the years. During my time at Draft I worked on integrated digital campaigns within multi- disciplinary teams. Projects covering online marketing, pitches, direct and ATL creative work. I worked on all of DRAFTFCB’s biggest accounts, from the purely digital SAAB, MOTOROLA, POST OFFICE, TTA, MINT, STELLA ARTOIS, HOEGAARDEN, TWININGS and CA to traditionally ATL clients like NIVEA, HEALS and SCJOHNSON. I contributed to a large pitch win for GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL and became brand guardian for MOTOROLA.
Working for ATL and DM campaigns required me to work closely with other Art Directors and Copywriters across the TBWA and GGT agencies. I came up with concepts and art directed microsites, online campaigns and iDTV for all our clients and many pitches. Provided creative leadership and supervised illustrators, photographers, designers and developers when needed. Creativity, interaction and information design were key skills required in my job on a daily basis as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Clients for whom I have worked include: 3 (The launch of this network in the UK), DAEWOO, VAUXHALL, PRUDENTIAL, UNICEF, EUROSTAR and NEWS INTERNATIONAL among others.
I designed fish4Cars, fish4Jobs and fish4Homes online presence in iDTV.
I was a designer for the beeb.com portal and a ground breaking first attempt to design an interactive TV interface for RADIOTIMES.
