- Spilt Milk Pop-Up CafeSpilt Milk is an art cafe which combines the concept of an art gallery and a coffee shop to create an inspirational and creative space for socialising and networking. The project has an element of social entrepreneurship, with the aim to support young London artists by letting them exhibit and sell their work for free. This allows them to gain exposure and experience by building their brands and networks - essentially helping them to launch in the art world. With London being a tough place to survive while being a student, funding art projects and gaining the opportunity to exhibit can be a daunting prospect. We will actively support young creatives in their early development, and further their client base and sales as our community builds.

I assisted organising the Spilt Milk launch event. My responsibilities were organising artists and helping with the layout of their work within the space. I placed orders with suppliers and dealt with these companies both over the phone and face to face. I used a CRM system to email invites and also to deal with RSVPs. For the launch night itself, my duties consisted of ensuring everything was complete in line with tight deadlines. With a short space of only 2 days to set up and prepare the space, I had to ensure that I was organised and worked cohesively with the founder of Spilt Milk.
