About me
I am a Video Editor and After Effects operator living in South East London with a passion for creating documentary and brand content, in particular telling stories relating to music, entertainment and culture. I am always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, or just interesting creative folk, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect. Currently on the look out for Edit/Producing positions based in London. SKILLS Competent and tactile Video Editor with a knowledge of Premier Pro CC, Avid Media Composer and FCPX with a particular finesse for live music, interview and advertising campaign content. As well as an understanding of grading, compositing and title design using After Effects and Photoshop. Experienced Assistant Editor/Data Wrangler/DIT having worked extensively on some of the most ambitious UK broadcasts to date; including The Tribe, 24 Hours in A&E, London Olympics, The Jump, Desi Rascals, Inside Claridges and The X Factor Series 7-10. Confident self shooter with experience operating Canon 5D mkIII, Sony FS7 & Canon C100 and capturing in particular vox pops, interviews and live events. Management experience co-ordinating small teams whilst efficiently organising workloads. As well as self producing video content and organising live shows for the Good Evening Vimeo channel. A background in sound recording and music performance had led to a sympathetic approach capturing audio and the importance of sound design.

    Vero Social - Narrative Short Film CampaignSocial Media Platform Vero where keen to engage a new musical audience - bringing filmmakers and musicians together and collaborate to tell stories behind the songs and let film makers interrupt what was meant when writing these songs. Involving a competition mechanic where film makers and musicians entered so they would be paired with one another and make a short film. This campaign resulted in a screening event of the two films created in the campaign as well as live music from both featured

    Working alongside a hugely talented production team creating video content consisting of sessions, interviews, live performances & other unique formats for both up and coming talent & the world's biggest artists. Starting out as a Technical Assistant, my job quickly developed into an all encompassing production role involving editing and grading interview, showreel, social media and live music video content, as well as developing new pilot formats, researching locations and creating graphics packages. During the weekly production shoots as have also been regularly called upon to camera operate and record audio. Over key responsibilities include: • Ingest of video and audio rushes from shoots through a Adobe CC and Pro Tools workflow • Maintenance & organisation of shared edit storage • Preparation of grouped & synced project files • Export, Encode/Transcode of videos for approval / delivery • Preparing graphics and bumpers in After Effects and Photoshop • Delivery of videos to the LPlayer platform and/or other destinations • Archiving of finished projects to long term storage / LTO Tape • Generation & delivery of video cuesheets and metadata • Quality Control of outgoing video deliveries • Rigging / DIT on production shoots My first two month's have also involved editing interview content for subsidiary Youtube channel Transmitter, DIT & editing a 18 camera shoot at Alexandra Palace and camera operating for [PIAS] Nites/Rockfeedback's London Events.
