Beth Suzanna is a mixed-race London based illustrator whose uplifting work is rooted in colour and connection.
Creating work for picture books, programmes, covers and campaigns. Beth’s work has a strong focus on community and diversity, Using bold figurative paper cut shapes or expressive pastel line to create tactile, playful and human work.
Working across Publishing, Editorial and Commercial briefs, as-well as Workshop Facilitation. Over the past few years Beth has created work for the likes of Bloomsbury Publishing, her debut picture book receiving five award nominations. Editorial Publications, such as Politico US & EU. Aswell as the V&A Museum and Hay Literary Festival as their 2023 illustrator in Residence.
Her creative collage workshops have seen her collaborate with brands such as Hermès, G.F Smith and Casetify and back in 2022 she was a D&AD New Blood Festival Portfolios Judge.

- Casetify Collage EventA few months back I hosted a creative collage workshop with Casetify. It's always lovely to hear such a great response to my creative collage workshops. Tailored to each brands launch or venue, this event was a floral filled afternoon to celebrate the launch of the new Casetify Essentials range. - Album ArtworkOne of my most played albums of 2023 was Olivia Dean's Messy, on repeat. Go check it out if you haven’t already. Decided to design a self initiated vinyl sleeve of my interpretation of the vibe of the album - Hazy & soulful. Loved creating this one. Playing around with layered paper cut work and spray paint.
- V&A Black History MonthTo celebrate Black History Month 2023, I was commissioned to design an activity resource for the V&A Museum, South Kensington to highlight work on display by artists of Caribbean heritage. I facilitated a series of workshops with The Croydon School of Supplementary, to research Caribbean families perspectives on the V&A artwork and how they hoped to engage with it.
