My name is Bethany Drake and I'm an illustrator from Poole, Dorset in the South of England. I am currently studying BA Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth and hope to carve a career in children's illustration. My main passions include creating characters, exploring worlds and illustrating narratives. My ultimate goal is to illustrate a children's book that gets published!
My style of drawing has changed and developed a lot over the last few years, I love working traditionally and trying different mediums and so each project allows me to explore and experiment with both colour and material. My current favourite mediums to work with are watercolour and colouring pencils!
