About me
I am a multidisciplinary artist and educator living, working, and making books in London. My work explores themes of folklore, flora and fauna, and the human body and experience. I have a keen interest in creative social engagement, and my creative practice also includes working with people from a variety of different backgrounds encouraging them to make and draw, primarily in the form of zines. I co-manage a creative platform known as Loose Knees, where we facilitate and document events such as parties and workshops. I have several independently produced and published zines for sale amongst the DIY scene in South East London.
Projects
  • Art&MIND
Art&MINDA workshop designed to encourage conversation about mental health, using the process of zine making as a form of creative expression. The workshop was followed by a short discussion on art practice as therapy. Hand-outs were collaboratively put together by myself and Tommy Brentnall, as part of our collective 'Loose Knees'

The Golden Thread Project - Folk Beasts for AllIn collaboration with @hartclublondon and @thegoldenthreadproject, myself and a group of artists were asked to create activities all about folklore and mythical creatures to be sent out to those in need.100 of these packs will be sent out for free via Hart Club's network of charities, supported studios, SEN schools, and food banks. My pack teaches the reader how to construct a simple paper marionette, based on the ye olde english character Reynard the Fox. This pack can be easily adapted into

Comic Club Jamboree - Drawing ChallengeA commissioned workshop intended for a college/classroom, however was then developed for use as an online resource due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I developed this workshop for Camberwell College of Arts for use as part of the BA Illustration 'Audience and Visibility' module. "In this task we are generating stories through a process-led method of working - a process that is challenging. We are focusing on the production of content and ideas first, and to create as much work as possible with

  • All Centre
All CentreArt Direction for All Centre All Centre is a London based record label managed by Robert Venning. I create original artworks for each release, inspired by the sounds produced by each artist. The images are designed to be eye catching and easy to read as small thumbnails. The drawing technique I used to produce these is based on a restrictive process, in which I draw against the edges of rulers and use unpredictable materials and processes. https://allcentre.bandcamp.com/
