I’m a creative, enthusiastic and ambitious Art Director who strives to create innovative, attention grabbing, conceptual work. With a broad background in graphic design, art direction, photography and teaching, I’m uniquely skilled to tackle every design problem I face with over 6 years of experience behind me and a relentless hunger to learn. I work hard, love a challenge and aim to inspire and motivate those around me to enjoy the work they do, as much as I enjoy doing mine.

While studying for 3 years at CPUT, I learnt the numerous skills necessary to become a full time designer. Not only did we cover basic skill sets such as the Adobe creative suite, illustrations, printmaking, animation, packaging, typography and brand identities, but we also worked strategically on advertising and marketing campaigns as well as covering photography.
In my fourth and final year at CPUT we learnt to refine our design process, and narrow down on conceptual frameworks.
I worked on a year-long thesis and campaign aimed at teenage girls, encouraging them not to worry about the media encouraging them to be 'perfect'. I used design thinking to come up with strategic, innovative solutions to design problems, and finished with a strong, well rounded campaign.
Throughout this year I also interned at Future Media Group, as well as in the GQ & Glamour magazine online department. I also began freelancing for numerous clients, from small scale start ups to large international brands like Seventeen Magazine.
