Living and working abroad, meeting people from various parts of the globe all continue to inspire me with a plethora of creative ideas and a good eye for detail. In my recent roles, I have worked in and also managed various teams where I encouraged inclusivity and the appreciation of diverse ideas, developed rapports and trust among the teams in order to ensure, I was approachable at all times as a Sales and marketing team lead in Nigeria. I was also able to synthesise important data quickly, approach problems and solutions strategically and work under pressure, and also to very tight deadlines as a Digital product design trainee on the flipside Programme. Besides my past experience I am the founder of a small social media, brand and digital marketing strategist start-up, Epid which prides themselves in creating, customised, contagious content and strategy for start up businesses. Epid was a passion turned side hustle which i started 8 months ago, and i have now worked with many brands and businesses. I am a community leader and currently managed a team of 12 for the social media of my community group. Another passion i have is working with young people in my community, as one of the youth leaders for Talent Match London a community organisation in which i create workshops and events which nurture young people by building their leadership skills and supporting them to realise their potential. Through these projects young people are empowered to lead and affect change within their communities. I recently had the privileged to be selected to take part of Flipside programme, which was a 12-week full-time programme for talented young Londoners to develop fundamental skills and mindsets that will launch their careers in the creative industry. Trained by industry experts such as Beyond, Made by Many, Sennep and Ustwo. Some of the skills learnt were working in a team to develop a digital solution to an existing problem. Finding insights through extensive market research. Using design softwares, SketchApp and Invision, to visualise ideas, develop a user journey and test concept on target audience. Exploring various ideas, choosing the most viable, feasible and desirable idea that tells a story and seeing it through to delivery and presenting Keynote presentation to industry experts on finalised ideas and gaining feedback.
