Creative from Walsall living in London seeking work in the arts. A visual story teller and listener; I enjoy world building with an emphasis on atmosphere, character and stylisation. Drawing inspiration from life is an important part of my process as I attempt to capture the liveliness of reality on the pictorial plane.
Projects
- Brighton RockA large format (A3) comic depicting a scene from the novel 'Brighton Rock'. In this sequence I wanted to focus on the fear and internal conflict welling up within the character Fred Hale after realising a group of mobsters want him dead. Originally a 9 panel page format, I've rearranged them to speed up the pace of the original by not relying on dialogue and skipping certain panels to further convey the sense of anxiousness and paranoia the character gives off throughout the scene.
