- Production taken to a new level: A project for Hunting SeasonIn 2022, I was tasked by the brand to explore new production options in Europe, aiming to expand production capacity, ensure product quality, and access a new array of materials. After several months of testing, we successfully established production in Spain. For the past two years, this has been our production hub, enabling us to grow, elevate our products to another level in terms of quality, access a wide variety of materials, and centralize our exports from this country.
- Personal Brand Conceptualization: Regia & VictoriaAfter a decade of working for various fashion and lifestyle brands, I made the decision to embark on the journey of launching this accessories project crafted from natural fibers. It serves as a means to showcase not only my aesthetic vision but also my professional ethos, collaborating closely with skilled female artisans. The aim was to serve as a nexus between contemporary design and traditional artisanal techniques rooted in Colombia.
- Exploration of Artisanal techniques in Colombia for Loewe’s entry into the countryIn this collaboration with Loewe, I was tasked with paving the way for Colombia to become one of its manufacturing hubs for the Paula’s Ibiza summer collection – a line of products crafted artisanally in various countries worldwide. After months of extensive testing, we identified a technique that enabled the production of the client designs with high production standards and ample production capacity. Five-year professional career with a degree in industrial design. For my graduation project, I conducted research on the international market for the traditional Colombian craft technique of handmade black ceramics. Building upon this, I designed a collection tailored for the European market, preserving the processes and identity of the technique. This collection was launched at the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt, Germany. My graduation project was selected among the top 10 of the year and showcased at the UJTL Museum of Visual Arts.
