Community work with Beyond the classroom, The Stella Flannery award for excellence & Best Production

Beyond the classroom

  • During the summer of my final year at college, I had the privilege of working with a social enterprise known as Beyond the classroom as a performance mentor. Along with a group of peers we were able to create original pieces of drama, music and dance -which we then went onto tour at different schools and youth clubs in the southeast London area. This experience was paramount in helping me learn how to creatively touch upon sensitive issues through art and pushed me to develop my confidence as a performer and mentor. As a result I was presented with the award for community work.
