Social Art Curator with a Masters from Glasgow School of Art following on from BA Hons Jewellery Design & Silversmithing at the same institution.   • Harbinger Exhibition
    Harbinger ExhibitionHarbinger research exhibition is a physical and digital exhibition about the impact of the climate crisis on marginalised communities living in urban settings. The exhibition will be from 1st – 7th November 2021. Harbinger is a multi-layered collaborative research project and exhibition marrying science and art and featuring women of colour artists, activists, scientists, and medical consultants.
  • NOWYOUSEEUS
    NOWYOUSEEUSNOWYOUSEEUS is a research led activist project exploring Identity through the lived experiences of womxn of colour with Afro-Caribbean textured hair. The artworks examine and celebrate marginalised voices present in everyday life as black/brown womxn traverse a world with continuing Eurocentric standards of beauty.

    Antiquated Modernity - Degree Show 2019 -My body of work has been developed in response to a series of questions about the commercial and artistic aspect of a craft skill. This work has changed drastically, as up to February 2019 I was working on a completely different project based on concrete. Crochet originated in Scotland but became popular in the houses of the aristocracy where ladies were expected to pursue some form of needlework to pass the time.
