• Reimagining King Arthur at Wigmore HallI co-managed a largescale community opera project at Wigmore Hall, with Early Opera Company. This opera was based on Purcell's King Arthur, 'reimagined' by composer Alasdair Nicholls
• London Youth Choir Wellbeing ProgrammeI spearheaded a new weekly wellbeing programme to check in with the 350 children and young people who attend the six choirs in central London. This involved group wellbeing activities, face to face counselling and talks with parents, youth mental health first aid and physical first aid, sitting on the National Safeguarding Youth Forum and NCVO Safeguarding working group.
• London Youth Choir AspireI developed and managed London Youth Choir's outreach programme in 7 boroughs over two years. More than 100 children experiencing disadvantage from the outer London boroughs were recruited in to the main body of the six London Youth Choirs, each with an Arts Award.
• Harrow 1918: Lest We ForgetI designed and programmed a 3 month festival to celebrate the armistice, I won £10,000 Heritage Lottery Fund to make it happen. Harrow Arts Centre was the lead partner, and it involved thousands of local people and many organisations.
• Royal Opera House Thurrock Community ChorusI managed the ROH Thurrock Community Chorus during their 5th anniversary year. Projects included: Jo Cox Charity Single and TV FUSED choral festival Thurrock youth singing leadership programme New centre for choral singing in Thurrock Local community engagement and performances at ROH Covent Garden
• Royal Opera House Design ChallengeI managed the ROH Design Challenge programme during my time there. ROH Design Challenge FE/HE works as stand-alone enrichment project to build a student’s portfolio, or can be planned into course content by the subject teacher/lecturer. At this level, the judges are looking for excellence in the design process, the concept of the ‘world’ of the opera or ballet imagined by the designer, and the realised final piece.
