Hi! My name is Chantelle Nuttall and I am an Illustrator currenty based in Bournemouth. I have just finished my Illustration degree at Arts University Bournemouth.
I am a hardworking and enthusiastic illustrator, with a strong passion for my work and the field of children's illustration. I have always liked using my work to tell a story and during my studies at Arts University Bournemouth I have developed a love for creating and/or illustrating narratives aimed towards children. Wordless narratives are what I enjoy most. I believe that these narratives are the perfect way to introduce young children to reading and help them develop their creativity and imagination.
I mostly work digitally, however, I enjoy using a variety of textured brushes to emulate a traditional feel to my work. I am always open to new opportunities to develop my existing skills, learn new things and improve as an illustrator.

- BEAF Wallpaper CompetitionAlongside my work for my final year of university I entered the BEAF wallpaper competition. For this competition I had to create a phone wallpaper following the theme “2B Human”. For me “2B Human” is to dream big and aspire to be a little better every day. I chose to illustrate this with an astronaut in space because it’s a great example of something amazing humans can achieve. My wallpaper design was chosen as a runner up in the competition.
