Hi! My name is Chantelle Nuttall and I am an Illustrator currenty based in Bournemouth. I have just finished my Illustration degree at Arts University Bournemouth. I am a hardworking and enthusiastic illustrator, with a strong passion for my work and the field of children's illustration. I have always liked using my work to tell a story and during my studies at Arts University Bournemouth I have developed a love for creating and/or illustrating narratives aimed towards children. Wordless narratives are what I enjoy most. I believe that these narratives are the perfect way to introduce young children to reading and help them develop their creativity and imagination. I mostly work digitally, however, I enjoy using a variety of textured brushes to emulate a traditional feel to my work. I am always open to new opportunities to develop my existing skills, learn new things and improve as an illustrator. If you'd like to get in touch you can email me at email@example.com
- BEAF Wallpaper CompetitionAlongside my work for my final year of university I entered the BEAF wallpaper competition. For this competition I had to create a phone wallpaper following the theme “2B Human”. For me “2B Human” is to dream big and aspire to be a little better every day. I chose to illustrate this with an astronaut in space because it’s a great example of something amazing humans can achieve. My wallpaper design was chosen as a runner up in the competition.
