Projects
- Cancer ResearchRedesign for Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Pink is a lead brand colour on all elements for BCA, they had already settled on the ‘It’s a Girl Thing’ line. Using fun pink elements to recreate their circle logo, all the images were related to different ways to fundraise, sports, cake bakes, flower arranging, parties. The concept being that whatever you are into, there is a way to raise money that will fit your interests.
- ShelterShelter is a fantastic charity - I was lucky enough to spend a few months freelancing with them from the summer of 2015. I worked on a variety of projects - fundraising events such as Shelter Presents, Slippers for Shelter and Vertical Rush, numerous social media awareness campaigns, an interactive display for the Ideal Home Show and a selection of corporate materials such as leaflets, brochures and documents.
- The Twilight Saga The Complete CollectionThe Complete Collection DVD & Blu-Ray packaging. Having worked on lots of different design elements for the Twilight saga, most items relied heavily upon the supplied photographic keyart. With this project it was great to have a chance to create something different that stands out from the other artwork. The illustrated thorny rose swirls are foil blocked in rose gold and also embossed, which I think creates a charming addition to any fan's collection.
- Damel & SquireI was asked by up and coming fashion brand Damsel & Squire to develop a coat of arms for their logo design. The main objective was to represent their ethos within the design. The lion and stag represent England and Germany, the handshake stands for fair trade, while the crown depicts dedication to quality. Read a bit more about my design process with the client here: https://damselandsquire.wordpress.com/2015/08/15/how-our-logo-developed-from-scratch-to-final-logo-corporate-design-for-fashion/
- The Craft Juice CompanyHealth food, but not quite as you know it - that’s the ethos at The Craft Juice Company - naturally they wanted their brand to reflect that. With music and alternative pop culture important factors to consider, the logo I designed has a slight feel of the psychedelic text of sixties gig posters, but with a modern overall style. Bold, yet versatile, working well at various sizes - crucial for online and social use. It also works as an overlay, white out over rich coloured photography. This fed through to my concept for the packaging, to let the colour of the product show through as much as possible. So a white logo on clear packaging, showing the colour of each juice. I chose two handwritten fonts, which have a craft feel, they’re also friendly and fun.
