About me
My work is inspired by daily rituals from my cultural background, combined with the natural curiosity of my restless mind. Through work that is cleverly articulated, insightful and ever so slightly humorous, my work strives to amuse, delight and inform the world. Also, I might be a maximalist*.
Projects
- Love / HateLove / Hate starts from the simple idea of creating chinese words with letterpress. I chose to manipulate Gill Sans, because of it's history as classic british typeface. It speaks, in a way, of my time as a chinese in the London, a mish-mash of both cultures. With handrolled ink on letterpress, this book explores the idea of how emotions can change from love to hate... and if you're an optimistic, from hate to love.
- WeWeeWeWee™ is an app that aims to revolutionise the toilet finding scene. More than just a toilet finding app, it's a social platform that showcases the freshest trends on the bathroom scene. WeWee™ was a concept that was realised in a short two week period with Sean Murphy during Collabology 2015 at Somerset House. In order display the WeWee™ idea fully, we built a fullsize WeWee™ pop-up toilet that was showcased during the Collabology pitch night.

My main job was to work closely with the head designer in Ideation and creation of branded direct mailers and collaterals for brands such as Mercedes and SingTel. I also assisted art directors in design
and craft oriented print and digital works.
