My name is Ciara Allen. I am a graphic designer, art director and all round creative thinker, that graduated from the university of arts London with a 2:1. Whilst undertaking my degree I did a variety of freelance work to improve my skillset, alongside getting internships at Glock and OTM. These agency have allowed me to work on such brands as Grey Goose, Dewar’s, TfL, 8x8 and Salestrip.
I was also awarded a D&AD New Blood award for the John Lewis and Partners 2019 brief. Along with being shortlisted into the New Blood Academy. In recognition of this achievement, my university Dean acknowledged my work and achievements in opening speeches at graduation along with awarding me with the award for outstanding industry achievement.
I am currently interning in an agency though my ambition is to continue to follow my passion for design and obtain a full-time role in the industry that I love.

The challenge was to portray John Lewis & Partners not just at a Christmas go to for gifts but as an all year round inspiration and source for spreading joy. John Lewis & Partners’ slogan is ‘For us, it’s personal,’ I wanted this to come across clearly in the advert. They are not only there for one time of year or one day. They are there for a lifetime and all the moments that they help
