- Save Our Wildlife: SelfridgesFinal Major Project. A one month campaign carried out by Selfridges and Greenpeace, to highlight the human- caused dangers faced by our wildlife. The windows each take the form of miniature stage sets, borrowing elements from fun fairs, the theatre and vintage children's toys. Theatre, funfairs and toys all offer a form of escapism - they can whisk you into a different world, if just for a moment. These windows offer glimpses into these animal's specialised worlds, which they themselves may soon be just vintage exhibits. At a first glance the landscapes of these installations will evoke warm feelings of nostalgia and curiousity; it is only when taking a closer look - perhaps at the shooting targets trained on the elephants, or the dripping chemicals behind the shimmering honey bees, that the viewer can see there are more sinister meanings at play.

I worked on projects for Hermes, John Lewis and House of Peroni Italian lager. This was a brilliant way of learning about the excitement and pressure of tight deadlines, shifting briefs and the expectations of A-list clients. It also taught me the value of having a strong set of practical skills alongside a grasp of the creative approach - I used both digital and art and craft-based processes as diverse as making clouds from wire and packaging materials to building large jungle creatures from papier mache. Helping out was originally meant to be a one-off, but I was asked back owing to my ability to work well alongside Rhea’s permanent staff, picking up ideas quickly and carrying them out to a high standard.
