        • I create a wide range of print and digital collateral in order to support the wider Marketing function of the business. Playing an integral role within the Marketing team to produce assets for the ecommerce, retail and all marketing campaigns I develop new concepts through to design and production stages as well as completing and creating artwork for brand communications. I am play a vital role for all print formats to do with the business including POS, Catalogues, Door Drops and Flyers. On a day-to-day basis I design assets for the website, email, social and paid media channels whilst researching images, typography, design trends and keeping on top of our competitors’ content as support material for online.

        • During my time at this agency, I utilised my creativity to tackle a wide range of tasks from GIF creation, image editing, photography, graphic design as well as designs for leaflets, posters, business cards and online web assets such as display/affiliate adverts and video on demand edits. This role allowed me to develop my knowledge of design and broaden my design skills as I worked with a variety of clients such as The Linen Co, small restaurant franchises like Built Burgers, and high-end furniture brand Venoor Living. It was creatively stimulating to be able to produce such varied assets for the variety of brands as it meant I could be truly creative in everything I produced, presenting various ideas and concepts for each small business and their marketing concepts. I thoroughly enjoyed assisting small businesses develop their brand identity and appreciated the variety that this particular role brought. Responsibilities: • Create & Schedule Social Media Content (across multiple platforms; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) • Create Visuals (infographics, videos, images - photography) • Setup & Manage Paid Ads Social Campaigns • Provide Regular Reporting • Research and write blogs for various client's websites to help promote SEO strategies • Any other relevant tasks as required by the management team, often graphic design based.

        • I ran and designed the social media content for Pad Stylist, posting their Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest content. I curate the imagery in advance using programmes such as HubSpot and Later to ensure the brand image and tone of voice is consistent. Aside from social content, I also provide design elements for the team such as logos, business cards and leaflets and had input into the redesign of the new website. As of January 2018 I was also given responsibility for the blog and newsletter content, updating the newsletters twice a month, sourcing interviews, images, articles and more.

        • I was able to apply for a different design role within the Learning Solutions department due to my previous temporary role there. In this new role of Design Assistant I was able to adapt my previously learnt skills to challenge new tasks and problems. I was able to be more individual and bespoke with my jacket designs under this new role, ensuring I remained within the brief given by the authors for their books. I kept up-to-date with current publishing trends and also remained aware of educational publications and their general design conventions.

        • During my role as a temporary Designer at Pearson Education publishing house I used and grew my computer and Mac knowledge of programs such as InDesign, Excel, Photoshop and Word by listening to briefs and designing the covers and preliminary pages of assigned books. I greatly improved my communication skills from this role as I had to take in to consideration what the author wanted on the cover of their books, but also individually work to produce a relevant cover to the guidelines from the author. This role allowed me to grow my creative eye and adapt it to more professional and commercial proficiency. I also gained general office skills such as photocopying, faxing, and gained good phone conversation skills. I was able to use and improve my teamwork skills due to when the department would receive a large project that required me to work on a tight time schedule with my co-workers, ensuring that the jacket design and pages were created and ready to be sent to the printers.
