- Ruby Ruth Dolls, University Marketing Assignment (2021) First-Class Honours grade.Adobe Photoshop task to market Ruby Ruth Dolls in a photographic composition. As a DIY and eco-friendly ethos is at the epicentre of Jenny Mustill's work, I formed a collage-style piece of my own home-made creations. This included: a clay Ruby Ruth Dolls rocket, punch-needle stitched earth and stars, and a clay heart that reflects the Ruby Ruth Doll’s logo. I captured the RAW images with a Canon DS500 camera. To apply my pieces to the composition I used extra large green sticky notes to act

Film and Screen Studies BA (Hons) The University of Brighton
Brighton, United Kingdom
Centred around the paramount importance of screen media, it’s now intrinsic part of our everyday lives, exploring how Screen Media affects audiences, and how audiences shift Screen Media. From: Films to Television, to Music Videos and Social Media platforms, screen media is embedded in our routine living, and so studying this has felt extremely important for contemporary studies as well as exploring a potential future.
Modules and assignments:
• Audio-Visual Professional Practice, Photoshop portfolio (2021): First-Class honours. The brief was to create a promotional advertisement through a photographic composition for the Brighton-based brand Ruby Ruth Dolls. I created a polymer clay promotional rocket with her brand name and punch-needle stitched an earth and stars with eco-friendly wool to represent her ethically sourced ethos.
• International Screen Studies (2021): 80% First-Class honours. Explored Japanese national identity through the lens of J-Horror video games, in reference to depictions of Post-WW2 and reflections of national psyche through Godzilla.
• Framing Women: The "Female" in Popular Screen (2021): Upper Second-Class honours. For this assignment I critically analysed the Hulu T.V. series, Little Fires Everywhere, through the lens of intersectional feminism and portrayals of the American dream. My journal submission was named "Sparking the match against the White picket fence of suburbia: how Little Fires Everywhere places intersectionality at the forefront of the representation of womanhood".
• Dissertation module: Upper Second-Class honours. My dissertation was titled "How visibility through social media facilitates user-led surveillance, with specific reference to Digital Vigilantism". In my writing I explored the concept of digital vigilantism, in which user's, through the advancements of Web 2.0, are now capable to act upon belief of moral or criminal wrongdoing through the use of Social Media. This explored how our frequent use of social media naturalises surveillance practices of being monitored and monitoring each other, such as data tracking through social media, police access and monitoring.
Consistent first-class honours in presentation assignments: Industry and Workplace module in 2019, International Screen Studies presentation in 2020, and Final Year Workshop presentation in which I was invited to present my work at the graduation ceremony.
