About me
With more than 4 years of experience as a creative director and marketer executive, Cristian Jofre had a truly global and intriguing career. As a part of the Marketing team at London Warehouse Events, I worked on the multiple award-winning festival Junction 2 (Boston Manor Park, London) and Elrow Town ( Trent Park) as well launching ION Festival in Dhërmi, Albania. In addition, I also worked on a number of indoor music events at some of Londons most respected venues such as Brixton Academy, Tobacco Dock, Magazine London, Village Underground, Fold and E1. I am the co-founder of Rhythm Labs, a music collective based in North/East London. Rhythm Labs is an independent record label and promoter, who look to unify communities through music and have a positive social impact on the communities which we operate within. We have worked with a number of artists including Space Dimension Controller, Holly Lester, Big Miz, Ceephax Acid Crew and Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn. Our first release RL001, which features Alright - Graznya Biedron and Pedal - Provhat Rahman is being released on vinyl and digitally through all major streaming platformns Intriguing, due to a very unique assignment in Kabul, Afghanistan where Jofre managed a creative hub of producers and designers and launched 3 TV channels for the Moby Group in the Middle East. He currently resides between Miami Beach and Berlin and collaborates as a creative and marketing consultant & advisor for various global brands and cultural entities. Renowned for his visual innovation, Jofre and his team are the recipient of hundreds of awards for his promos and advertising campaigns, including accolades from Promax & Broadcast Design Association (BDA), the Cannes Advertising Festival, The One Show, D&AD FIAP, New York Festival and many other awards. He has also held the role of visiting professor and tutor at the National Film and Television School in London and contributed as an editor various publications, including collaborations with visual- culture publisher Gestalten: On air: The Visual Messages and Global Language of MTV and Latino Grafico: Visual Culture from Latino America. Skills I have expertise across a number of Digital Marketing platforms such as social media marketing including content creation using the Adobe Creative Suite, paid ads, community management and analytics. In addition, I have an in-depth understanding of CSM such as WordPress, Bluepark and Vantage while optimising SEO and SEM through Yoast, Google analytics and keywords. I have an excellent understanding of Mailchimp and how to optimise open and click-through rates. Vamk is the London based studio of animator Ucman Balaban, who specialises in motion graphics design and illustration. I studied Visual Communication Design at İstanbul Bilgi University and graduated with a massive passion for film and animation. Since then I worked as a motion graphic designer, commercial director and animator. I’ve worked on motion graphics projects for brands like Nike, Converse, Vice, Sony, CHP, IAF. Directed music videos for bands like Second, Ringo Jets and Higher Brothers.Beside working on projects like these i like to animate GIFS and shoot travel videos.
