Hey, I'm Dan. I've spent the past few years founding and running McKinley & Paget, a home fragrance and scent-branding business.
I have a broad background in menswear design, denim, trend forecasting, and retail, as well as the gamut of responsibilities that go with running a business - project management, e-commerce, client and customer service, bookkeeping and negotiation, as well as making hard decisions under full accountability. As a business founder I'm pretty good at putting out fires too!
I'm now located in Tokyo and looking for the next challenge.

Built from the ground-up, a home fragrance brand that champions plant-based ingredients. From 2019 we branched out into Scent Branding and have so far collaborated with other businesses such as Gorillas and The Royal Collections Trust.
I develop scents and products, and handle day-to-day administration. I also handle all production, logistics, inventory and e-commerce management, basic book-keeping.
Over the years I've found this role to have pushed me even further as a leader and as a negotiator, in all situations, good and bad.
