Daniel is a researcher, educator, curator, designer, writer, coder with focus on neo new media, AI, web3 and developing platforms for creative practices focusing on the interstitial nature and fluidity of contemporary approaches and processes within video, digital media, voice and sound. Daniel's work is concerned with accessibility of digital tools and new digital spheres to expound notions of interaction, exhibition and audience engagement, experimentation, thirdspace theory, digital/conventional cultural hybridization, and content dissmemination.
Daniel has lectured in visual communications, guest lectured at a number of universities and now coordinates a new platform for AI learning for creative industries content production (video, voice, image and text) and a New Media Art alternative post-graduate pathway (to be launched mid-late 2023)
His broad vocational background spanning tech development, leadership, design and publishing provide the basis for an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving.
He now joins AA2A as National Director as well as developing a new alternative MFA pilot pathway module in neo new media.
