Work history
    Junior Product Manager
At Ministry you are thrown in at the deep end from day one, and the sink or swim environment establishes those who are cut out to work in the music industry, as it is a highly competitive and ever changing environment. I am consistently challenged with different tasks and as no two days are ever the same you don’t know what the challenge will be. I work across multiple campaigns simultaneously, which are all at different stages ranging from concept to production of a TV advert, and the role demands that you know about every facet of each project at every stage. This role is extremely creative and I am heavily involved at all stages of the creative process allowing me to have full control of my products. I manage product marketing campaigns as well as the production of creative assets: TV Adverts, Print, POS, Press and Online. The experience that Ministry of Sound has given me is exceptional, as is demonstrated through my being promoted twice within the company since I joined 18 months ago. I have refined my project management skills, made great connections within the creative industry and had some incredible experiences that I will take with me and transfer to my next exciting career challenge. Responsibilities • Creating moodboards for packaging, print, digital and online advertising. • Writing creative briefs based on conversations with the team for both album artwork and TV adverts. • Delivering creative assets to support full marketing campaigns: TV Adverts, Print, POS, Press and Online. • Working directly with external design agencies, production companies, freelance designers, ad agencies, PR agencies, media planners – ensuring that amends and direction is communicated effectively and that excellent relationships are maintained. • Working closely with the in-house artwork team and overseeing and updating workflow documents. • Shoot production including managing stylists, sourcing photographers, retouching and booking models/extras and negotiating costs/usage. • Developing and implementing UK and international marketing campaigns including online, social, print and events. • Reporting back to the team on updates of campaign and post campaign analysis. • Devising and managing project timescales and ensuring all deadlines are achieved. • Assigning/commissioning jobs and reporting regularly on a job’s status. • Producing and managing creative budgets for my own projects. • Creative research and image sourcing including agreeing rates, terms and licenses. • Liaising with printers, attending press passes ensuring quality control.
