About me
Hiya! I am a freelance illustrator and designer based in London, and have recently completed my degree in BA (Hons) Illustration at the University of Hertfordshire, obtaining first class honours. In Summer 2019, I undertook a design internship at Minale Tattersfield and have since designed promotional products, marketing collateral and branding material for clients such as; The Face Fridge., Eagles Wings Charity, Hole in the Hedge Café and Baggage Magazine. I am currently looking for full-time work as a designer/illustrator. I am also available for enquiries and commissions, please see my projects, website and Instagram page for work examples. Natural History Museum Hypothetical RebrandFor my final major project at the University of Hertfordshire, I created a theoretical ‘summer takeover’ rebrand for the Natural History Museum based in London. I enjoyed using an illustrative design approach to highlight and celebrate endangered underwater species and pay homage to the importance and purpose of the blue whale to the museum.

Our graduates tend to have a broad range of skills, from conceptual to technical to interpersonal. Most of them can do a bit of everything: illustrators who can develop brand strategy, graphic designers who can animate with the best of 'em, slick digital experiences, clever copy, 360° campaigns, custom type, printmaking, beautiful editorial work and powerful statements demanding change. During my three years of studying, I have been encouraged to create innovative design and illustration and focus on business development. For my final major project I created a theoretical ‘summer takeover’ rebrand for the Natural History Museum, which highlights and celebrates endangered underwater species and pays homage to the importance of the blue whale to the museum. Other examples of work I have created; - Fully illustrated storybooks - Editorial illustrations for a poetry book called 'Love Poems' - A map of my home town - A cocktail recipe book - Emoji's, GIF's and animations - Book cover design (including entries into the Penguin Random House Student Design Award). I have also undertaken collaborative projects with other illustrators on my course, with creative writing students to produce editorial illustrations for their magazine 'Postcards', and with graphic designers to create a campaign to reduce adobe's pricing for students.

My year at Buckinghamshire New was exciting and varied. We were encouraged to be innovative and creative, and to have a strong concept behind any developed idea. During my time here I experimented with product, graphic, interior and typographic design, and specialised in fine art and conceptual thinking. For my final major project I researched and explored the idea of beauty and how it is portrayed in the media. In my response I created a life size interactive dressing table with accessories in latex, fully standing with supporting photography for our public exhibition. This was to represent the other side of beauty, taking the often filtered objects and portraying them in an unpleasant smelling, discoloured rubber resembling dead skin cells.
