About me
Salut! I'm Dom, a British/French freelance graphic designer, editor and mentor based in East London. Working with great people to bring game-changing ideas to life is what I live for. Trained as a traditional designer and printmaker, I now combine my craft-led approach with strategic thinking in the world of branding. As a firm believer in lifting as you climb, I also champion emerging creatives via community platform The Arena. Having interviewed some of the worlds most inspiring creatives, I’ve been described (by myself) as a Robin Hood, stealing knowledge from the wise and sharing it with emerging creatives. Should you want to collaborate with me or The Arena, just reach out! I’m always up for a chat and a croissant Personal website: domedwards.com Join the community: thearena.org.uk Instagram: @thearenauk Email: dom@thearena.org.uk
Projects
  • Ish – Branding & identity
Ish – Branding & identityThe new plant-based seafood eatery, protecting the future of the ocean. The Challenge: To change the image of plant-based foods, motivate people to eat less fish and get people to join the journey in protecting the future of the ocean. The solution: With a distinctive name, playful copywriting and a bold visual identity, the brand makes a big splash in an emerging market.
  • Lauren Archer – Artist identity
Lauren Archer – Artist identityJazz infused pop meets nature inspired storytelling. The Challenge: Known for her work in drum and bass music, Lauren needed a brand that showcased the direction of her new sound. The solution: A visual language and aesthetic that captures the dualities in Lauren’s musical craft, reflecting both raw and beautiful messages.
  • Copthall Estates – Logo identity
Copthall Estates – Logo identityModern real estate built on a rich heritage. The challenge: Capture the story of Copthall Estates, a modern real estate company, with a heritage dating all the way back to the 1920s. The solution: An identity is born out of a ‘CE’ monogram derived from the modern serif typeface Berlingske. The mark is used confidently throughout the identity as a symbol. The identity achieves a modern yet traditional feel through the colour palette and foil printed details.
