About me
Good morning/afternoon/evening/night whoever you are, wherever you are! I'm a London based Blackpool export, graphic designer and illustrator who works in the print industry on a daily basis, creating adverts in the press for products and services aimed at the older generation. Outside of this, my passion lies with creating artwork, both by hand and digitally, for myself and for others, making the world more colourful day by day! The bigger the project, the more meaning, the more creativity involved, the better! My overall skills specialise in: *Commercial Illustration *Branding *Murals *Packaging Design *Web Layout *Page Layout *Storyboarding Cartoons are the way to my heart, as well as beer and cheese.
Projects
  • Manchester Bear Village
Manchester Bear VillageAs the centre piece for an exhibit I held last year, I wanted to make a face-in-hole artwork piece which people could interact with. This is certainly the largest scale piece I have worked on, being around 5ft 9" tall, and seeing it printed was such a reward!
  • Landscape Artwork Compilation
Landscape Artwork CompilationA handful of landscape artwork that I have created using fineliners and marker pens. The artwork is drawn entirely freehand, so it requires a lot of attention to detail, but even then, my style allows room for error as I then make it work into visual effect to enhance the colours and the lines. My landscape artwork attracts a lot of attention on social media from my friends and family, and is the centrepiece at any of my exhibits!
  • Cartoon Art Compilation
Cartoon Art CompilationA small selection of my finest recent cartoon art. Be it commissions or for myself, I always have a great time making this kind of artwork, where I can make the background using pens and use Illustrator to make very detailed cartoon art for the figures. Also a given, but I'm a huge Pokemon fan! Any fan art I create is always fun!
  • Fun House Confectionary Labels
Fun House Confectionary LabelsMy negotiated major project at university, I wanted to combine my passion of cartoon art and commercial illustration to create a brand of confectionary, something else I absolutely love (I don't talk to people who don't like sweets). I set in my mind exactly what I wanted - a fun fair theme, as the whole concept of something fun, colourful, and somewhere to let loose definitely is right up my street, and the brand characters as carousel horses spoke for themselves. Some elements were hand drawn
  • Press Page Design Compilation
Press Page Design CompilationA handful of print adverts I have designed through my days working alongside agencies. Each copy was made on InDesign and exported to the appropriate print format before sent out to respective publications, where they then are assigned pages before being printed and distributed. Being for products generally aimed at the older generation, simplicity is key, but you can bet I'll put my spin on it through the use of shapes and colours to break down sections and take into account contrast, repetiti
  • Bangladesh Monuments
Bangladesh MonumentsIllustrated wall art for a Bangladeshi family business featuring several of the country's monuments in the form of hand drawings which have been taken in digitally and adjusted to fit a sunset style colour scheme and layered to form a replica of a city. I wanted to make this feel homely to people who know the country well!
