born in Hanoi, Vietnam. Duong is currently studying under a scholarship MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Duong is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer with bylines in Art and Market, Ocula, and Plural. From 2014, Duong worked as a researcher and lecturer at University of Theatre and Performing Arts of Hanoi. In 2021, she began working at Mekong Cultural Hub as a Regional Representative for Vietnam. Exploring the intersections between contemporary art and social response, Duong works with practice-based research focusing on reflecting social cohesion, community identity, and the interaction between humans and nature. Growing up in a developing country, Duong came face-to-face with problems endemic to the region, such as environmental destruction, gender and racial discrimination every day. Committed to advocating for the strength of an artist, Duong’s work brings a necessary message across communities.
