About me
An English-sounding Scotsman most at home in the Orient, E Merlin Murray is currently nestled in the frozen north of England with some Japanese brush pens and a big bottle of ink. He has a largely drawing-based practice, does his own printmaking, and is proficient in both digital and traditional animation techniques. D&AD "Ones to Watch" 2020. He is a graduate of the Illustration BA at the University of Cumbria in Carlisle. He welcomes commissions for various types of illustration and animation project.     Mysterium ConscientiaA book of drawings which discuss the mysteries of human consciousness via the worlds of neuroscience, metaphysics, esoteric mysticism, and a whole load of other arcane sciences. The book was funded via Kickstarter and self published in 2019. The follow up, Mysterium Psychedelica, is due in early 2021.
