Hi, I'm Ed Phipps, I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. I studied Fine Art Drawing at UAL in London and progressed towards graphic design after founding both independent arts publication, Bikini State and more recently Americana inspired, clothing and merchandise brand, Ed's Hardware.

At Pagemasters my main roles are Risograph printing, binding and finishing printed products and hosting weekly one-to-one teaching sessions with members of the public who want to know more about the printing process. I also photograph, retouch and store items from the archive as part of my role here.

I visited Sheffield Hallam University times over several weeks to provide a three-part Risograph printing course to the students there. This began with going through the fundamentals of Risograph printing and ended with each student having designed and printed their own Risograph print editions.
