So a bit about me. I recently graduated from Central St Martins in London with an Architecture Part 1 qualification and degree, and whilst architectural education leaves you devoid of a social life, I’ve still managed to keep up with my personal goals in sport, image making, writing and buying clothes.Locked Pro Plan feature
Reliable and organised, having done regular photoshoots/shows for companies and designers over a long period, for which I arranged all the appointments, travel and generation of invoices until I was signed to Next Model Management in August 2013. Have worked with international clients such as Nike, Superdry and Vogue. I have also appeared in a number of music videos and acting cameos.
Covering the latest news and prospects in fashion, sport, interior design, architecture and technology. My adoration for small independent magazines and more serious publications like Architectural Review have ultimately propelled me into my laid back but concise way of publishing content. Curating blogs to help grow my understanding of popular culture and also generate revenue so that I can expand them further. Successfully accruing over 50,000 followers on social media – through creating a recognisable persona, networking with big names and receiving products to promote brands. This entire process has exposed my natural flair for PR and sales.
Employed as Senior Marketing Manager for 2 year old, international start up. Includes art direction and business strategi.
My recent project in collaboration with Croydon Council looked at the legacy that teenagers helped create on the pre-millennium music scene in Croydon. The project then grew from researching that legacy, and so we started to question the needs and wants of the current 16-25 demographic. It resulted in a temporary build of multi-use furniture, combined with a mobile application, pairing youngsters with vacant spaces around Croydon that play host to the furniture. The aim was to foster participatory design and organic growth.
Studio Glowacka had been on my mind after seeing their installation at the V&A Museum, so I thought I couldn't miss the opportunity to work with Agnieszka on a live project which would be shown at 100% Design expo.
Running all social media accounts for Peyote Restaurant whilst also photographing the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. In addition, getting in contact with influencers from my own network to visit the restaurant and experience a complimentary menu.
Joined LASSCO in July as an intern who would cover all the aspects of the company and get to grips with the family run architectural salvage and timber company. I was assigned to work on photography and social media, photographing and retouching products for online sale and for PR purposes and running the social media accounts for LASSCO Ropewalk. Photographed artwork for the store and designed and coded HTML email invites for London Design Festival. This also lead to me art directing images for the photographic exhibition for LDF and in addition, contributing my ideas to the logistics, curation and running of the private view. Exposed and utilised an area that LASSCO had no one to organise specifically - making this a more passionate and personal opportunity for myself and my development.
Headhunted to style on a large scale shoot for Nike Global Football and Sportswear. It was a very challenging 24 hours which involved being put on the spot to make quick, concise decisions and chasing cold footballers around to get the right kit on for continuity. Thoroughly satisfied by the opportunity to be creative whilst thinking effectively and on my feet, this would definitely be something I would pride myself on in time-limiting and almost spontaneous situations.
Headhunted to work for Something About Magazine and joined a team of 9 others, all assigned their own topics to work and write on. Writing daily articles on the crossovers I see in architecture, fashion and the surrounding spheres to help build up an archive of written and visual material before the launch in 2015. .
Shortlisted as one of Nike’s Top 100 Influencers and was invited to brand awareness events, dinners with the US Head Office and private yoga clubs and events. To top it all off, I then became the face for ‘We Own The Night’ and went along to their race in Victoria Park as an ambassador. Along with my athleticism, my social media presence on Twitter and Instagram was also a driver in Nike choosing me as a real person to represent their brand. Recently took part in a project about the London Olympics and what I think the Rio Olympics will bring to the UK.
After joining the club in 2004 as an athlete, I coached an under 9s group at my club from 2009 and received a Level 1 standard coaching qualification. I volunteered at all the competitions that the club hosted and sat on the Club Committee as a Youth Representative. In 2011 I was promoted to Team Manager of the under 11 and under 13 girls teams. In addition, I worked with special needs and disability groups. I also worked with programmes such as Sportivate and Star Track throughout my time at Wolverhampton & Bilston and in 2014 was invited into local schools to work one to one with budding athletes, on a community scheme funded by Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
